OPEN 570 PACIFIC COAST CHAMPIONSHIP

We had to find a way to celebrate: in a few months, the fleet will be 2 years old. In 2 years, the Open 570 fleet went from ZERO boats in the USA to 15, and growing! We are pretty happy with that and decided to organize our first Pacific Coast Championship during Long Beach Race Week. The event will be on June 27th, 28th and 29th.

Long Beach is well know in California for good winds during the summer and flat water (at least inside the breakwater). Having raced there many times, it was a logical choice for the fleet to run this first event locally.

Boats from outside Los Angeles are also joining us and we are welcoming USA 190 from San Francisco, USA 170 from Newport, RI and USA 201, from Texas!

Last year, 2 Open 570s raced during LBRW. This year, we will be 8 boats on the water! FAST, FUN and FURIOUS !!!

Most boats will be there a couple of days before the event starts. Feel free to come see the boats and meet the owners...who know, they might need crew!
