Welcome to Sailing Sportboats!

Sailing Sportboats was created in November 2005 to promote the sport of sailing through high performance sailboats. You will not see here any displacement boats, cruisers or powerboats.
We are based in Los Angeles, CA (yeah...definitely not the best place in the world) but we travel a lot.

Our Racing Calendar will let you know where we are and where to see the boats.

Later in 2007, we decided to import from Europe one of the latest FINOT design, the Open 5.70. The first two boats arrived in Los Angeles late in July and were raced for the first time in August 2006. Since then, the fleet has well grown fairly well, especially in Southern California where 7 Open 5.70s race in Marina Del Rey.

We talk a lot but really don't take ourselves seriously. However for almost 2 years, we are a very active Dealer for TackTick Instruments and recently became the US Distributor for Nauteek Tactical Electronics.

We are becoming pretty good in the sportboat field and would be happy to direct you the right direction if you are interested in sportboats or tactical/racing equipment for small boats. We work hard to give great prices and very good customer service down the road.

But most of all, we love kicking ass on the water, blasting 20 knots of boat speed through the waves. That's what Sailing Sportboats si about!
